G'day,
This afternoon I replaced the drivers side door trim as it was a bit worse for wear. I removed all the screws, two hidden bolts, Door button and Mirror selector switch knob. When removing triim I heard something pop and later found another piece of metal. I reinstallled the door trim but when reassembling the mirror control switch it did not function, it is loose and not sure if those two metal lugs are from the mirror switch. Does anyone know if these metal clips are from the mirror door switch? This switch controls drivers and passengers front door electric mirrors. Or do I need to buy another switch? Cheers, Peter |

I have located the problem and rectified it.
I'll post pics on here later today and show you what the problem was. Cheers Here are the photos. I could not locate the small spring, its very small so I replaced the entire unit. In the meantime if I find the small spring, I'll keep the other as a spare.
