Same parcel shelf as GLi, Futura etc. No different.

Don't they have a cut out for the sub? Or does it just sit under the standard parcel shelf?

I had a Futura here for a while and it had the cutout for the Airsub, so does my Fairmont. There is no hole in the parcel shelf carpet. You have to cut that one yourself . You having an EL Fairmont should have the hole there already anyway.

I have an NL FAirlane and the sub sits under the carpet.

Yes I do have the sub hole already cut out. I just wasn't sure if he sub actually stuck out or if it stayed under the parcel shelf itself. Never really paid any attention.

The sub stays under the parcel shelf.
The only difference was that the gli shelf had sound mat covering the little holes in the parcel shelf for the sub. As I've discovered with mine, if you take the factory sub out and don't plug the little holes with sound mat, or use something to fill the sub hole, the bulk of the airflow inside the cabin goes through there and the parcel shelf carpet becomes an air filter and ends up looking filthy. |

Thanks for the handy tip mate |
