it hasn't actually been that bad...

iv just modified the steering column mounts so it actually sits in the center or the gap :) jusr required some new holes in the AU column mount to be drilled... the BA mounting points are 88mm apart (left to right) and the AU are about 120mm apart

So after eight hours of working in a 35 degree tin shed dealing with not so nice people and then umpiring 3 games of netball, all to afford this front bar which cam assures me i desperately need, i come home and hop in bed... Only to get up and find my ENTIRE centre console and ICC unit ripped out of my car and implanted into the AU with the reassurance that it will all be back in place by 645am tomorrow morning when i head off to work again.... ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Wiring Up Rear Power Windows Without Windows or Door + Looms might also do this for the front passenger

BA Single Switch
1-2
3-X

X-4
5-X

1 = Power Supply From Front 4 Window "Lock" Switch
2 = To 4 Window Switch "Up" (Depending on what window your wiring up)
3 = To Motor Reg + (Red)
4 = To Motor Reg - (Blue)
5 = To 4 Window Switch "Up" (Depending on what window your wiring up)

I've Tested This on the Back Left Window but with 1 Connected To a Acc. Wire and 2+5 Earthed...
I'm Assuming When the 4 Window Switch Isnt in Use it will just act as a earth...?

My windows arn't working very well so im of to buy some silicon spray :)... i hope thats all it needs and that the speaker wire im using is thick enough...

Cheers Cam

had a look at the handbrake today and its just to big of a job to fit the BA one on my current budget... so iv attacked AU handbrake with a splitting axe lol . it wasn't going the whole way down and was hitting on the center console so this is what it looks like now, i have also fitted the BA hand brake button :)

by the looks of it the BA handbrake will require a different cable and a new mounting bracket to bolt it on to as it is bolted alot higher than the AU

Hey all got it all in for the all ford day this sunday... as of now i have no time left for the car... (to many things to organise) so it all in and working... not real happy with the fascia... i can see this being attempt 1 of 4 or 5 lol...
but hears a few pics
Image
Image
also had a problem with the door locks... it would appear that the BA interior door handle cables are slightly longer than the au. so when the interior door handle is in its home position the cable is slightly pulled...(so when you lock the car then open the outside door handle it unlocks all the doors pretty much what the inside door handle does) this doesnt affect anything other than that i have fixed this ... pics later (in a week or so)
