Heres the question. If you have aWHOLE bunch of things to wire up that all require 12 volt power and you hook it into the closet loom can that wiring cope or will it cook with too much current to be distributed?
Just say you hook up:-in dash TV, DVD player, Tacho, gauges PS2 and you hook all of these into the nearest 12 volt wire, will it cope or do you have to et a dedicated 12 volt line from the battery for these types of things?

agree with mre-40l wire up new feed from battery if you want it to turn on with accesories wire in a relay from accesory point eg old radio point etc. can wire in stuff that need constant power before relay (station memory for radio, clock) much safer, less hassles and in the long run less stress on your wiring, and dont forget to add an inline fuse, just incase

Really depends on the current/amperage of the stuff you want to hook up. Im not sure what the standard cigarette plug wire is rated to, but I doubt its very high.

As mentioned, depends on the combined current draw of your equipment.
If you do have a Futura, you could try the power windows power line. It's not far away at the centre console. You could fit all your gear and test it as a trial - this line has a 30A circuit breaker for protection, so no big deal. Only thing is it is an accessories feed only. Could save you a bit of fiddling around putting another line all the way to the battery.
