Ive never seen it on my cars, altho it might not be on the high series - they have a picture of the car that shows what door/boot/bonnet/fuel flap is open.

Anyone got a picture of this fuel door msg, interesting.

Is that a standard EL cluster? Cos that looks..... weird, lol. Not in a bad way, actually looks a lot more modern than me EF one. But very very different.

Im not sure if its standard, But its the one i got in the EL Fairmont Ghia. Others that i have seen dont have the top two components (top left and right)

I know what you mean, looks very clean and modern looking.
High series have many more markings on the dials and use italics font in comparison.

its like, "DUH! I've had the car for a year, and I still don't know where the fuel door is!"

Yeah funny story when i noticed it, was right after i tanked the car up.... Stopped at the lights and noticed this thing fuel door. I then ask myself did i close the damn thing and was bewildered that i didnt close it... Anyway it was peak hour on sunnyholt road pulled over in a side road and checked the door funny enuf it was closed, It was a b**ch trying to get back on to sunnyholt, all because of that damn thing!

My Landcruiser tray top has the filler and guage on the passenger side...
