The tacho on my EL has the words "fuel door" with an arrow pointing to the left of it. Is that arrow actually pointing to some sort of warning light or at something important? Just curious if anyone else has figured that out.

Yes it's a Fairmont Ghia but I've not been able to see any sort of warning lamp for it anywhere and certainly not where its pointing..

The whole which side is my fuel cap on isnt hard anyway. Every car on the market puts the fuel gauge on the side of the cluster that the fuel guage is on. The exceptions to the rule put an arrow on the guage to tell you the correct side. ie ba falcons etc.
