got this one from a ford dealer. i think it was an eb gt gear boot. black leather. took it with camera phone so excuse quality. not pricey at all iirc. love it too. looks a whole lot better than the inca pyramid of old.
i couldn't bring myself to buy a gear boot from super cheap auto or autobarn, even though that's where the replacement gear knob is from. it's serving me well after 6 months. wish i'd bought a second in case i wear this one out.

sorry there andrich. went for a hunt through my receipts in my ute and glovebox and couldn't find the gear boot one.
it was probably more expensive than an autobarn one but i wanted something i knew would fit straight in and mount properly, so i rang up the local ford dealer and enquired about one. don't think i paid anything outrageous for it though, couldn't have been more than $50. if it was then it really doesn't phase me. it's a great fit. and brings a bit more refinement to my interior. if thats possible for the xh.

Thats a good idea, I think a proper boot like an EB GT one would finish my console off better.

by far against all that woodgrain and trip computer. the stocker boot just looks way out of place. hope its not a stretch to find one around.

I have the same gearknob. I have a custom made gear boot (it came as part of the conversion) and have found it looks less shiny than the EB GT one. It looks heaps better than the jelly blobs.
