I reckon it'll be the thermostat. Heater wasn't that hot, ran at 65 deg. Only got to 'o' in 'NORMAL' on a 43 deg day (EB dash).

Thats what im hoping for, nice easy fix. my temp gauge never even makes it to the writing "normal". always sits smack bang on the line under it. will go well into normal if doing skids etc.

I did a climate control conversion in my xr6 and the heater doesn't warm up. But it never warmed up before the conversion. I'm also having blend door issues . I'm missing a vac line that goes into the engine bay . On closer inspection I can see the vac line it's tangled up around the grommet at the fire wall. So the dash is coming out this w/e . Hopefully I can fix it. I need it for this weather lol

if it wasn't opening far enough it would have been running hot not cold. it should have a temperature stamped into it

Just been for a drive (thrash) around the streets. and had cabin temp up to 28degrees. feels alot warmer now. had to get the mrs in there to double check for me as shes the soft one lol she said its changed heaps. so final outcome, yeah it worked lol. temp gauge sits on about the a in normal now. bit higher, but heater works so allgood lol, the real test will be early tommorrow morning when i use it. cold mornings leather seats and no heater not good. hopefully itll be a warmer ride in the morning.
