I finally got around to mounting my 8" touch screen in my black ebii fairmont.



ATM i have a laptop under drivers seat. Still in the process of getting it hooked upto sound system so at the mo all i can do with it is cruise around looking for open access points!

Looks good setup. Does it interfere with anything?

well.... it blocks ashtray/lighter (big deal)

and is a tad high so covers up bottom of head unit.. will be dropping it abit in the coming days..

it doesnt interfere with gearstick but comes mighty close.. which is also associated with being too high..

so having said that i'd say no it doesnt interfere. got vga/usb cables running down center console then under carpet then under seat into boot. also have power running into center console/glove box bit with rocker switch on the tray for power (incase cops pull me up).

Also have rocker switch for amp signal so i can turn em off and mess with anything.

Now i just gotta get amp bolted up to the side of my boot and get the laptop fixed somewhere until i get full size pc (and then gotta get that mounted).

but its coming along...
