IMO u shoulda fitted the LTD Cluster!

It is a bit of work John...plus you miss out on the adjustable speedo that a few of us have with the ex-chaser clusters...the fairlane clusters are indeed nice...if they had the speedo calibration feature (why couldn't cops have NF's and NL's back in the day ?! hehe) I'd have one in my car by now :)

yeah i realise its a bit of work... but when you have all of the interior out, swapping looms is dead easy (i've done it in mine) so if it was *wanted* then it wouldn't be hard :)
I know what u mean about the chaser cluster... i've got one sitting here that i'm contimplating fitting, saves me putting a resistor in the fairmont one i currently have.... but its not *that* useful unless u've got a non-standard diff ratio :P

Sure it can be done - no doubts about it...but AFAIK, the actual pinouts / loom plugs differ slightly AFAIK...Xyphoid could perhaps comment here as he has done the conversion.

Yep agreed RE the chaser cluster...but also consider that our cars speedos read inaccurate by 4kms from the factory anyway (intentionally!)...so calibration from one EF/EL to another differs even if in stock form...but yeah all things considered...the features of the fairlane cluster do out weigh the chaser cluster - it would just be awesome to have the best of both worlds :)

Sorry for the off topic Dave - go the cappucino :D

Looks Nice. For the side bolsters for the rear seats try McArthur parts plus in Narellan, NSW. (02) 4646 1288. They specialise in EB-BA Falcons. It was the only place in oz I could get Capo air Bags.

Thanks mate but I think side bolsters are nearly done......they are being retrimmed.

Only thing left to source are the cappa lumbar handles on the front seat (4 of them) then it's completo cappaccino. :D
