No, the rod is then too short, you will need to get a replacement rod, just go to the wreckers. They will probably give you one.

Leather unit is just a Stock plastic covered with Leather.

Might have one here as well as a Chrome shifter stem.

Not Button, Shifter shaft. Not all leather shifters were fitted with Chrome Buttons.

Should be metal and will fit directly onto the existing shaft. I think Greenmachine (Troy) has the same shifter handle as that.

up to you, I fitted it to the wagon for the boss and she was happy, not my scene but she is the boss :shock: . I fitted a GSR Galant one to mine, better than the stock unit either plastic or leather.
