you need to grab both sides and pull one side and push the oter side then visaversa. you look like an absolute tool doing it but it works.

they are a tapered fit and wiggling it so to speak loosens it

Ahh... well, I just got it off cave-man-style, I just pulled out the 40lb hammer and belted it and it poped off no worries. :)

Now on with a fresh new one. hooray!

Swapping the EF upper collumn into an ED should be straightforward. The issues you may have will be the wiring for the airbag and horn clockspring. But I dont know what the ED had underneath?

ay got the steering wheel on .. it only took 15 mins max and i just pulled the steering wheel off !! u just gotta wriggle it and it should slowly come off just watch ya teeth wen it comes off lol.. heres a pic
