Hey guys please excuse me if I’m in the wrong section but my heater in my ba xr6 blows cold perfect but when I change it to hot I get nothing but cold air I’ve flushed the cooling system and the heater hoses but am not stuck is there any way to reset heater or is it a replacement cheers guys the cold weathers approaching and need to get this sorted

Its likely the dash needs to be removed to replace the mixer shaft for the temperature adjustment.

Its a job i would not attempt. The mixer shaft is cheap but the labour is the killer. Get an auto electrician to confirm or deny the fault. Maybe its something else but this is common on BAs.
