Hi folks. Anybody come up with a fix for the broken heater flap rods? (EL Fairmont climate control)

I replaced the flap as I had spares.

And you'll need to mod the blend door actuator plastic adaptor as well, because it overdrives the flap, causing it in some cases to snap the shaft eventually.

I presume you found them maybe at a wreckers. I don't suppose Ford still sell them?

Yeah, that's what I want, but I cbf going to wreckers and pulling out heaps of dashboards in the hope of finding a good one

Yeah, them's the options.... :cry: again, does anyone have a fix for the broken rods.....
