Could someone identify the diode in this picture? (The one circled in red. Not the one with the yellow arrow pointing to it)
I found, by sheer luck that this one was faulty so I used one from another cluster, that I had, to get it to work. Now I'm selling that cluster and want to use the donor cluster. The problem is that I have misplaced the faulty diode which I was going to take to an electronics store to properly identify.
The only piece of info I remember from it is that it had 9V1 written on it.

Without this diode the speedo does not work. It doesnt even pass speed info through to the trip computer.

Cheers for any help.
Paul.

It looks like a 9V Zener diode part number 1N4739 from Jacar electronics.

I went to jaycar and took along one I had that was a similar size so they could pick the right power.
