Hi there, my EL passenger window decided to s**t itself and now will not wind up. Can someone help me out. It wont move at all and I pulled the door trim off and when you push the window switch down you hear a little click but when you push it up you hear nothing and nothing happens. I cant even force the window to go up at the moment so im in a bit of strife. I need help asap.

Does the motor jerk or tense sort of when you try to switch the window up?

If so, then your motor is fine but the cabling or cogs are stuffed. Cables may be tangled and cogs may be jammed somewhere.

If the motor does not twitch or move at all when pushing the up switch, then I blame the switch. Pull the switch off and see if the contacts are still good and you might give it a bit of clean...try and leave some of the oil residue there...that way it still flicks smoother.

yep, sounds like the cables jumped track.
you can rebuild them (if you can get the parts)
honestly your looking at about 50bux to buy a second hand regulator.
go to a do it urself wreckers, take a drill and bits, and also use the drill battery to test the regulator b4 u remove it.

You would have to do as horis said...undo the regulator from the window and then slide it up. it won't hold the glass up though...so it will slide down again. All I can say is remove the regulator and fix it as soon as possible...if you need a hand I can drop by Tomorrow (Labour day) and give you a hand.
