Hey guys i have an EF XR and i was on the way to work today with my headlights on and then it sounded like it shorted. the dash lights went out and i lost low beams. the interior light switch doesnt work but if i open the door they work. the high beam works but i get nothing when trying to put the low beams on. Please guys i need help otherewise its gonna be a hard drive home tonight afterwork.

Only a guess - but maybe the fuse blew??? Only guessing though... That would be the first place I look...

yep,your fuse blowned,that's what happend to me b 4, check your fuse under dashbord driverside,cheersss

ok checked all fuses, all ok, then i thought outside the square a little and thought of the least common thing to go wrong, and being my luck i was right. A wire had deteriorated, behund the headlight switch and was exposed how that happened, s**t i dunno but its all good now thanks gus for your help.
