Is it the lining sagged of the whole cardboard thing too?
If its only the lining, i have fixed this by pulli9ng it down, spraying it with septone spray adhesive, then carefully lay it back up there. If its the backing too, your f**k.

Go to your local Motor trimmer, they would see about two of these things a month, Holden, Ford, Range Rover, Saab, All of this type of headlining will go eventually. I normally charge about $275 for most large sedans $320 for wagons and that is doing it properly, removing the headlining from the car, clean down the board, and apply new material with a spray grade contact adhesive from a spray gun not a can,( I havn't found any spray can ones that I'm happy with )

Re gluing won't last, if I was in your position, I would at least clean down the board and use new material.

all car over 10 years old do it,the foam backing breaks down, ita glued to the material and the foam is glued to the card board.remove the lot.remove the foam-leave the glue, but a new cloth cover and glue it on,or get the guy to glue it neatly, then re install it,dyi-strech and smooth it out neatly and small sections at a time.
