I am need of some help with some wiring.

I have fitted up an aftermarket central locking system as in the tech doco area (EF/EL central locking replacement) to my ED Futura sedan.
Everything works with the exception of the dash mounted lock/unlock switch.

My query is this. I bought a repair manual, (Max Ellery's), and sorted through the relevant data on the smartlock system and the wiring. When i finally found the smartlock module and compared the wiring on the plug to the wiring diagram in the book, i found it was completely different. ie. the wire colours and pin positions in the book was different to the module plug in my car.

In a different wiring diagram in the book, i found the wiring colours from the smartlock module to be the same as the plug in my car.

I hooked up the aftermarket c/l system to 2 pink wires from the smartlock module but there are red and yellow wires going to each door, as in the doco. What i am asking is, is there another module or control box after the smartlock module, that controls the c/l system?

Has anyone else looked into this, or is there other books or wiring diagrams i can get to look at?
