Low series EL cluster low fuel light thingie does not light up on acc/ignition.

I thought there was a seperate low fuel warning light .... in amber .. somewhere on the dash ... like all the other model Falcons out there ... or was it different for the EF/EL models????

Nope, on ELs there's only the lil red square below the "E" of the fuel guage. It's kind of annoying, because, at a glance at night, the red section of the guage itself often looks like the lil light is on.

I don't think the higher series clusters have any other fuel warnings, either, as they're all handled by the trip computer, if I remember correctly.

you should have just bought a fairlane to start with fraser or a df ltd and wacked an xr front on it! LOL!

He has the car in the on position but not actually turned on
the oil light is on as the engine is not on so no oil pressure and the volt light is on as the alternator is not on

Sorry my mistake, it is the temp warning light that comes on on startup in low series, not fuel warning.
