Turn Ignition on, press the demister button 3 times within 5 seconds.

The door locks will cycle once.

Wait 2-3 seconds, Press 'any' button on the working remote fob
The doors cycle again.

Wait 2-3 seconds and Press 'any' button on the NEXT remote...
The doors cycle again.

You can do this to a total of 4 remotes, and all existing remotes are deleted.

You would have found this if you searched.

I am having exactly the same problem, I've tried doing the steps exactly as described many many times but pressing the demister button 3 times (on,off,on) never puts the car into learn mode, the locks never cycle.

Ignition must be on and ALL accessories turned OFF.
Press demister button 3 times only i.e. press 1 = demister on, press 2 = off, press 3 = on again. If the door locks don't cycle, turn the ignition off and start the process over again.

That's exactly what I've been doing but still no luck.

The strange thing is, It never worked when we bought the car 3 years ago and I recently installed a sound system and tried the smartlock again for the hell of it and it worked, for about 10 minutes and then stopped working again. I'm assuming the only reason it started working again was because I disconnected and re connected the battery.

I'm guessing it's a fault with the BEM unit?

hey mate.
Iv done this before and it took me a couple of shots before it eventually did the cycle. I think its because you have to press the demister button at a certain speed before the BEM reealises whats happening. Do it too slow or fast and it will completely ignore it.
Well that worked for me anyway. Give it a shot!
