hi,
new here (any other female here?). Just got an ex-police BF. Seems like the keypad training mode is disabled? (as nothing happens when press the demist button etc). any idea or do I have to take to dealer? Also know anywhere cheap to get another key done? Fopund a guy in Ebay but cannot find the code that he needed to get key done for me (had to send if off to him)... Does the radio/audio system have any codes that is needed if battery remove? (Have an older Falcon that needed codes). any help would be great..thanks |

The audio system, or ICC is coded to the car, if the power is removed, the ICC should pick up the coding when it is hooked back up - so should be no problem there.
Nothing happens when I press my demist button, I just think they are dodgy on the BA/BF falcons. |

I just had a BA key done. Cost me $170
You can get the key from any good locksmith or from Ford. They are around $100ea. This is a blank key. You then need to get it cut, any good locksmith can do this. The owners manual tells you how to program a third key (you must have 2 pre-programmed keys). If like me you only have one key, then some locksmiths can program the key or you will need to take the car to Ford. The radio doesn't require a code! Sorry can't help you with the remote.
