going to change the speakers but i cannot take one of the clips off the door trim ,the one near window

Are you sure you got all the bolts/screws holding the trim on ?
Make sure you get the ones off around the door handle itself and behind the badge/plug just above the speaker grill

what clip?

there is 2 screws on the bottom of the door trim
1 for the window winder ( if manual windows )

then 1 screw inside the small pocket near teh door handle
then 1 more screw on the outside edge of the trim
on the side that opens
