Gday, my door trims are rooted (carpet falling off, speaker cages kicked in by careless knees) and id like to save the woodgrain cause it looks rather spiffy if you ask me lol.
Does anyone know of an eay way to get these off without damaging the woodgrain? they appear to be glued on is this correct? |

they'll only be glued on if somebodies already had to refit them it depends which model ef, it'll either have plastic wood with lugs that protude through with little clips, cut the black clips with some strong, generally cheap sidecutters otherwise, the wood ones just have folded steel tabs.

Be careful, those plastic lugs are bloody fragile. I don't know how many of mine were broken even before I removed mine before painting a door trim.
Best way would be a ozbmx says, and just ease it out slowly and evenly.

Have done this recently i used a dremel to grind off the metal clips just be careful you don't melt them.
