Can anyone tell me how to stop the low fuel warning beep going off everytime I start the car? AUIII Falcon
I have recently converted to gas and the trip computer shows less than 80klm remaining so everytime I start it it beeps. I know, put more fuel in so its above 80klm. But surely someone knows how to kill the beep. THanks |

Two options. Pull the cluster out and there is a small piezo speaker mounted to the back. Cut one of the leads. This will mean no more Lights on, etc music as well. Second option is to place a 20-50Ohm resistor in series with the fuel level sender. This will mean that your tank will read more full than it is.
cheers Scott

quickest and cheapest (well maybe not cheapest) option is to put fuel in.

THanks Mine does the same, my LPG guage is shared with the fuel guage, it usually takes a few mins to come up to level so i have to hit reset on the comp everytime. |
