you dont need to remove the icc to connect the ipod cable...
if its a proper ford cable in plugs into a connecter tucked up behind your fuse box and runs across your dash and hangs out below the cigarette lighter if you still think you need to remove the icc. pull the silver surround off from around your auto shifter, undo 2 screws (1 on each side) that hold on the banana shaped plastic bits, pull them off, 2 screws and 1 plug to remove the tissue box holder, 2 screw at the lower sides of the icc and 1 up top under the triangle bit above the icc (this just un clips from the windscreen side of it) Cheers Cam

something like this will cost you about $35- $40 from ford, it comes with instructions on how to install it and you just hit the "AM" radio button to listen to aux

Best to get the amped version of the Ford AUX kit .... or the ASL Logisitics IPOD cable (if you are using an iPOD/iPhone) ... as it charges and plays through the 30-pin connector.

Auto or manual????
Auto the surround unclips and lifts off ... lift from under the front edge and it pops up . and lifts out. The actual shifter plate (if a 4 -speed) is a much larger job ... it's a console out job. If 6-speed auto ... then it should be easier ... only the surround needs coming out as you can manouevre the console a bit and get the plate out.
