after reading a few posts on "does a fairlaine interior fit into a falcon" i thought maybe one of the mods could make a sticky....doesnt have to be huge, just explain about modifications needed. Maybe also about fitting different model interiors (AU into EL, EL into ED etc). I would write one but i have absolutely no idea about interiors apart from mine.

and also does anyone know if you can get other model interiors to fit into an el (earlier e series or AU, BA)....i havent been in an AU or BA so i dont really know

cheers nick

the el/ef into boxcar has been done before, and is a HUGE improvement to the poor old boxcars.

i would hate to try and fit an au+ into el- would be HELL.

but there is a guy whos putting a ba interior into an au.

one reason (of many) why i wouldnt buy an au is cause of that ugly dash, imagine ruining an el and putting au interior in it.... :O

nah au's arnt that bad... but that dash is shocking...

au or ba interior isn't gunna be straight bolt in, with enough time, money, work and patience mosyt things are doable but!

yeah BOSXR8, im with you, i dont think i could ever own an AU (even a series 3 XR) cause of those terrible dashes. Outside they had them sorted and were starting to look quite good, but... yeah

dont know if this is on the subject but i put el fairmont front seats into my eb and it look hell of a loat better and everyone says the seats are one of the most comfortable seats they have sat in and others that say they look and u can see the puzzled look on there face trying to work out which car they came from.
they took about a day and a bit to mod then to fit without any twisting the seats.

i have to agree i found the fairmont seats very comfortable too, more so than the leather... i think it must be the velour??
