i have to replace the bit in the ignition barrel where the key goes in cause both key and it are stuffed. Will i have to buy new locks for the boot and doors aswell? Car is an EF sedan.

If your keys are rooted and you cant get new cuts to fit then yeh you will need new boot/door locks aswell if you plan on useing the key (advised incase ur remote battery dies) you can pick up a full aftermarket set of keys with the AU key style. Dirrect swap for 100 or bucks off ebay, With the barrle you will need the key, put into ignition and into accesories i think, then press the little button and it should just slide out, cant remember, been like 2 months since i re did mine. there is a full thread on chaging barrels on here somewhere. Hope this helps :)
