howdy how are yous if i do up a ed ford oneday down the track i want to know how youd sugest i go about it basically i want to put full au mid series harness and i want to wire up all the original ed dash, climate control pad, trip computer and what else do i need to do to put in full au/ba harness into a ed and keep all the original ed interior so i can have newer electronics and keep all the original ed interior look inc cluster, dash, seats, trip computer, climate control pad can you please give me any wiring diagrams and instructions and guides on putting the au gauges in the ed clusters or making up custom gauges in the ed clusters so i can still have the ed look. i done some searching and found stuff but i cant understand it so some help would be good so to do what i want above how do i adapt the au/ba dash plugs where the trip computer, cluster, cimate control pad and other plugs are in the dashboard to plug the au/ba wiring in to the ed stuff to keep it looking original

auto electrics are way too much of a pain in the a** to be doing what you suggest. it it aint broke dont fix it.

how can u expect anyone to read that....try using a full stop and some spacing

i might just stick a au engine in the ed using log manifolds when i get it as a daily car but may do those other things when i get one as a project

mate don't bother either buy an au or late EL or if you have your heart set on a ED just get a hybrid EL motor and chuck in ya ED use the ED manifold and computer and it will be good enough or if you want. get an el/ef dash coplete with looms and all get a el hybrid motor and ecu put the dash in then put the motor in and then the ecu should be a basic put in and go thing but the dash may be tricky.

i clouldnt agree more froudey.i would go the same way with my next project car.

thats ok if the original engines good i may as well just do single belt conversion and do head gasket or id rather use ed manifolds with the au engine if the original engines dead
