Hi all,
How hard would it be to fit a el fairmont instrument cluster to a el Futura.. I know I would need a new oil switch and a window washer with a low level detector, but what else would I need. Thanks

its VERY easy.
However with a Fairmont Cluster you'll have to add a resistor to the actual circuit board.

This explains everything:

Do you have to add the resistor to XR dashes as well? Are they identical to Fairmont dashes?

GLi/Futura/XR and Police already have the resistor.

Without adding it, the instrument lights will not illuminate.

Its a very easy proceedure.

When adding a XR/Fairmont/Police cluster to the car, you'll need the Oil sender Unit. (for the oil guage).

Also you'll either need to add the 'low coolant sensor to the recovery tank.
OR
Remove the waring globe as the higher models have a globe installed, when adding to a GLi, the lamp will flash and piss you off.
