Hi, welcome to fordmods!
I know what you mean, cos they keep on falling off the dash! i've got mine as low a possable on the windscreen, in the middle, and i've hard wired it in, so when i turn the key off, the GPS turns off 1min after, when i start the car, it just turns on, much better than having it pluged into the power source all the time.

laticia.

How did you hard wire yours because in my EB i tried to hard wire mine to a second cigarette lighter that i wired the power to the current cig lighter, and ground it under the console and then for someone reason on a test light with the cig button something blew and now neither work !
