I recently replaced all of the instrument globes with leds, they have been working fine up untill tonight driving along all of a sudden no tacho, speedo, fuel or oil gauges although the odometer, indicator symbols (which i replaced with the same leds) and various other lights still illuminate. Have checked the fuse, and dont think they could all blow at once, any ideas? :/

Thanks,
John

put a test light on and see if they are getting power.. then pull one out and connect it to a battery and see if it works.

LED's done wrongly can be very sensitive to higher voltage.. I had a regulator fail and blew most of my leds as the alternator was feeding in more than 18 volts instead of 14.

I had this happen to my AU, I put in blue leds and they all of a sudden just didnt turn on. Looked like one of them had short circuitted but couldnt smell smoke or anything that would indicate this. I did notice I had to bend the wires on the bulbs outwards so they would get a better contact and stop this problem.

When i did mine the first time around, the little wires on the base of the LED's were not sitting in the right spot, so that when I plugged them in they weren't lining up and wouldn't switch on.

Sounds silly, but it had be stumped for a while.
