Hey all i got a gauge holder (like in the GT's) for christmas and am unsure how to mount it as there are clips on it like the original cover has.
Basically i have heard that you cut a little slit in the dash and slide the back corner in then screw the front down. Has anyone got anymore detailed info on this. BTW i have no idea what brand it is it looks like someone brought it off ebay

so i have mounted the holder and now just need to run the wires for the volt and vacuum gauges any ideas on where these can be run as there is little to no room in that area that i can see.
i should mention i have spent 3 hours searching other posts and nowhere mentions this

If you got a FPV, the factory loom disappears behind the ICC, and runs along the firewall then into the engine bay.
Another option, is if you take the cluster out, you can get some wires up to the gauge area from behind the cluster, rather easily (much more easily than removing the ICC).

Unless you've got huge hands, the cluster does come out enough to get to them easily. I don't have small hands at all.
Takes some careful wiggling to get the cluster out (be sure to fully lower and extend the steering wheel).
