Hey fellas,
Has been a while since I was on here but unloaded the Fairlane bout 12 months back but have just picked up an 05 Falcon. Anyways have only had it 2 weeks and a mate has managed to pull the handle clean off the inside trim of the passenger door...thought the door wasn't clesed properly so gave it a great yank and yeah well the rest is history...the gorrilla armed git. So what's the go, can I just replace the handle or do I need to go the whole door trim thing? Reason I ask is that the handle itself seems to be attached with mushroom headed plugs (that are now clearly broken)...looking at the broken off handle I don't see how I am going to be able to put only a new handle on if these mushroom headed things are in place...does that make sense?? Hope yas can help, thanks eh. |

Thanks Papa S,
It is like the grab handle part that also incorporates the window control switch. Iy has the 2 x screw that attach it but also has a series of those moulded plastic bit that appear to mushroom behind the trim to act as further secure points...I am sure I have seen the trim minus the handle for sale though eh.
