Measured on the respective light covers, inside edge to inside edge:
Std dome: 95mm
Dome + Reading lights: 100mm (not enough I'd say, as the cover curves).

I fitted a 1watt Luxeon led in my dome light, Jaycar have 'em you just have to do a bit of soldering. They come in the usual led colours I can post a pic of my mod if anyones interested???

Ok here's a couple of pics of a few of my interior led mods.
As you can see I mounted the 1Watter on a small heatsink to extend its life cause they get damn HOT when you run them at 130mA.
The other ones I made up cause the comercial ones usually only have one led and it faces straight out which doesn't light up much of anything in your footwells so I just soldered 3 leds in series with a resistor of the correct value, then soldered them to a small piece of PC Board cut to the dimensions of the bulb socket your replacing.

I found high output led's from a Hong Kong manufacturer for about US28cents each so I got a s**t load of different colours cause I was looking for High output white ones to make a MegaTorch project I threw together (pic below). As the other pic shows you can make your own dash repacement led's yourself in any colour you can buy.. 8-)
I'm looking at posting a new thread with the conversion process in a bit more detail if people are interested???
Anyway this might at least give people a bit of an  to their own mods.

54 Led's, PIC controlled, 4 brightness levels,
low battery warning and low volts cutout[/img]
