hi all.. i was just changing my globe in my boot and as soon as i pulled out the globe, all my other interior lights didnt wanna come on.. and my stereo doesnt wanna turn on... also my clock seems to be on but there is no numbers :?

has anyone got any ideas?? thanks (i have a '90 ea)

it will be the interior lamp fuse... the stereo, clock, and interior lights all draw theyre power from the same circuit.. cheeck the fuse.. and if it blows again have a good look at the wiring near the boot lamp

Its the CRT LMP one. Top left as you looka t it 10 A fuse.

yeah its the fuse, soon as the body of teh globe holder touches the car it shorts out. You got to replace the fuse once the globe is in again. Otherwise you will short it putting it back into place, that what happened to me.

Pull the fuse first, then replace the globe.
