heyy, does anyone know if they make Leds In the 5w halogen lights??? the little bayonet type that is used in the fairmont map reading lights ?? after a set for my map lights, thanks

pretty sure they do. rip one out and stop in at your local jaycar/supercheap/auto barn/asian car shop and compare for size.

they are called BA9s globes

alritey, autobarn and s**t dont have em, il check jaycar for sure, I beleieve they are the same are the lights in rear courtesy light correct me if that's wrong ??

hey i used to work aty repco and i remember some little lights coming in dont remember the part number sorry but it replaced your festoon globes with a small panel of LEDs and it had like 6, 8, 12, and 18 i think in red, blue, pink and white and they just had little brass cups to make different lenghts for different globes

Yeah I've tried and failed with those map lights. Basically the map fittings are the opposite polarity to most light fittings (according to shop I bought from). So you either re-wire the whole setup to get to fit or somehow find some with the right polarity.
