Hey everyone Im just wondering if theres any information on retrofitting other model interior pieces (specifically door trims) to fit the XH falcon

I am aware that XE-XH door trims are direct replacements, but trying to find any of these is a nightmare at best so im considering other options.

Thanks a bunch guys :D

U might be able to fit in a Ef / el dash and door trims. If the Ef/el door trims don't fit on the xh you could fit on Ef/el door.

I've never done it so don't quote me . Just giving u ideas 8-)

Ef/EL dash will go in with a bit of work. It's actually kind of cool how much actually lines right up, but then theres a list of mods you have to do to get it right.

Only x-series door cards will fit xh doors. eseries doors bulge and curve where the x-series are flat.
One bloke on here has cut the inner skin from an el door and welded it into an xf door but it's apparently a nightmare.

EF/EL doors will not fit an XH. XH's are e-series from the nose to the front shock and x-series from the front shock back.

This all said - EF/EL seats should bolt straight in.

So the xh cabin will be x-series then?
I'm sure u can put a ef/el dash into ea eb Ed with out too many mods.

You can put the EF dash into an EB easily, however the XH is still an XD.... inside. The small cabin changes are the steering column (to accomodate the rack steering), mostly where it mounts on the firewall (XH is flat, as it has the EF Firewall), and the mounts for the seats were changed in line with the EB and EF I think as they happened.

Otherwise an XH is an XD, XE, XF, XG. The plastic under dash assembly is mostly unchanged from XF on (few screw changes, and a diagnostic connector plug), and you could unbolt the cluster, surrounds, and dash top and put the xd/xe one on.

Ive had the EB Dash in the XF, and its a LOT of work to make fit. The EF one is a little easier but air ducting is still an issue as the demister is part of the XD/F/G/H dash whereas on an EF its a seperate part. Fair bit of custom work (or no demister). The E series dash's are also a little wider, and you 'll need door trim mods to get it all to fit or good times with a heat gun.

Im now running an EB 5.0, with XH dash, NC Cluster in my XF

I thought eb dash and xh dash were the same ? Doesn't a xh xg have eb interior ?
Or similar , as the aircon switches in a eb are up the top and a xh down the bottom in the middle . This the only difference .

eb dash and xg dash are completely different. Cluster is the same.
EF and xh are completely different, but cluster is the same.

where XD, E, and F clusters bolt into the existing dash, the XG and XH have a steel adapter frame to mount the corresponding E Series cluster

Wiring is also very different - x series the relays are on the RHS of the steering column, E series on the left.

Its a custom wiring job to go one way or the other.

Ive got an XG, and im almost done with the interior deck out...
Ive got a black au3 centre console, a black leather shift boot, a nice woodgrain knob and a ripshift with a shved t3 stalk. New black mats, ed xr seats with nice black seat covers, and ive painted the seat trims black, clear coated and pollished them...
Ive stripped out the dash, painted it all black, and tagged/tidyd the wiring looms...
Led and condomed the dlight globes...
Put in new 80watt 4" speakers, and a nice head unit.
A nice woodgrain sports steering wheel that matches the shifter.
Im waiting on an ed xr cluster though...
And when I get new weatherstrips ill start fiddling with the door trims then...
Its done a head gasket, so im playing around inside it while its off the road....
Ive also ran wires to the back and have speakers mounted on the shelf behind/next to each head rest.
Ill also be mounting an amp on the tunnel (under the console) for a skinny sub to go between the seats on the rear wall.... And maybe some neons up under the dash, but not sure yet...

Any ideas you guys might have are appreciated too. :)
