Razor7107 not sure if you can get them from Ford, i got mine for free off my mate so lucky i didnt have to go looking around

no probs adam, i replied to your pm and i deposited the money
i really dont wanna drive the car until its done and then i will be driving everywhere
the first year i bought this car i did 40,000km lol thats how much i loved driving it, now ill live in it lol
since i joined this site my car has been off the road so couldnt even come to any meets or anything coz the car had no interior

Soda the upholsterer i used is called 'Blackman & Sons' in moorabbin (i think thats how you spell it)
Ph: 95325220
i have totally forgotten the owners name, i think it was Craig (he looks a bit like an older version of Craig Lowndes lol)
they have actually done the retrimming of the seats in the 2005 Alpine show car (which is actually an SS ute - so that might help even though its a holden)

my panel beater i would not recommend to anyone in the world
and spraying all the parts i have done myself
i first cleaned all the plastics with a dirt/grease remover (forgotten the name) and sprayed a couple of coats of plastic primer,
then i thought i would try spraying on 2 or 3 coats of black anti-chip under car spray and last about 3 or 4 coats of the matt black plastic paint
they have come up beautiful
i thought all the coats may smoothen out the texture in the plastic but it shows the texture straight through

need some opinions...

should i dye the dash and the rest of the door trims or should i get them retrimmed in black vinyl?

im leaning towards retrim seeing as i have done everything else and also they should last longer

but what do people think?

may as well go the retrim, it will last longer and blend in with the rest of the interior

my car has been at the panel beaters gettin a respray since november
ive sent it back twice so far :x
i got the VACC onto him so the car should be done in about 1 or 2 weeks

but dont ask whats been happening because honestly its a very long story

this car was supposed to be ready for the ford day this year in geelong
looks like im aiming for the ford day next year now lol
but its sorta helped in a way, i havent been rushing things and also spent a little bit more money in different areas for better results

so i got all my parts and sound system waiting (all alpine stuff apart for my 2 10' rockford fosgate subs and stinger capacitor)
just waiting for 1 alpine amp and new alpine screen/dvd player because its not available in australia yet i think, so just waiting for alpine australia to send them out to me because its all paid for

you would be amazed at how much the mark up is on the prices
the new screen is worth $1899 retail... i got it for $990
the amp is worth $599 i think and i got it for $285
so i just saved over $1600

got to order my black carpet and custom car mats when im close to putting everything together

so you people keep saying you cant wait??
I CANT WAIT :D
try not driving your car for 13 months
