Stupid question perhaps.

Installed full Fairmont wiring and features in my ED XR6 and the delay lighting only works on entry? Is that how its supposed to work?

not sure what you mean ... are you refering to the diming of the interior lights after you shut the door?

Yeah I'm not sure if I'm on the same wavelength, but my understanding is int lights come on when car is smartlock keyfob opened before door is opened, or come on when door is opened, go off instantly when ign is turned on, or fade out when door is closed.

Yeah but when you exit the car using the internal door handle, then shut the door is the lighting supposed to go instantly off, or still stay on for a few seconds?

Int lights should stay on for about 20 secs, then go out (low series BEM), or fade out (mid & high series BEM).

Territory fades in and out.
I think it stays on for about 20 sec as Snap said and then fades out.
Or unless you start the car ... and it turns the interior light off immediately.

I think it's the same with my AUII XLS ute too
