Just a quick update for this weekend.
i only had about 1.5hrs this morning to finish off the first door trim so i sprayed the rest and quickly put it together.

1st photo is the 95% finished door trim :D

Image

as you can see i still have to do the trim insert near the door handle. its still the crappy red i sprayed back when i was 16 and first got the car.

Image

im still not sure on what im going to re-trim it with.... any suggestions or ideas guys??

3rd and final photo is of the drives side door trim. just for a comparison 8-)

Image

will post more pictures through out the weekend :) bur for now i gotta go to work.

cheers Jason 8-)

Brushed Aluminium would look nice, but, how I don't know :D Never the less it looks sweet!

thanks mate, im not to sure about the Brushed aluminium look.... but was more looking at going a light tan/cream leather with a 'ford' logo burnt onto it or something along those lines... depending on costs and as such..

cheers jason 8-)

Do you want to add another colour though? thats why i thought Ally, but I reckon even the same colour with Ford and some flame or something else moulded in would be good. :D

I got my door spears done by a trimmer here in melb for $180. Done in leather with logo embroided. check my gallery for pics.
Hope that helps.

Hey Guys.

The trim work is looking good.

Door Spears are the wooden ones that mount above the door handle trim piece, which, izedso, look really nice the way you have had them done.

Cheers
BenJ

hey mate, would you have a photo of them??? i wouldnt mind looking at afew designs to give me some inspiration. :D
I think awhile ago i saw a member on here make up some chrome spears?? which i thought looked amazing. so i was thinking that in conjunction with some chrome door handles would go well??
but yeah just pondering ideas at the moment. :)

Just a small update, started on the driver side door trim. and on the center console thingo... pictures will be up as soon as everything is dry :)

Cheers Jason 8-)

This is a pic of mine in leather by SOC Car Audio and Upholstery. Cheap and easy to do. Just to pick the right colour as your trims are looking really good already.

Okay! finally got some time to do some more on the interior project, been a crazy few weeks but had some spare time yesterday so things should start moving again 8-)

here are some pictures

below is the instrument cluster surround thingo, painted black

Image

and the nearly completed center console

Image

Image

the plan after ive finished with the center is to get the rear doors done, rip out the dash and do that, rip out carpet and replace it with some nice new black stuff, re-do the roof and get that done in a nice cream/tan and im not too sure with the seats yet. i dont know if i should cheap it out and dye it or save up and get some leather covers made for it..... all depends on the funds really.
but thats it for now, slowly i know but the end product should look great!

cheers Jason

Hey man,
Looking Great! I've got a couple of questions for you, what's your email? (Just easier as it may get lengthy.)

Here's a photo of mine, I went for the more black/darker look inside due to the seats being the Ivory colour. (but I need to respray parts because some panels have cracked/chipped)
