here in mildura on the realy hot days wich are usually 43 through 2 47 my jvc headunit wont play cds.... i dont realy use the cd player all that much because its got the usb port, just out of curiosity has anybody else had this problem?

read the instruction manual that came with the HU - it will have an operating temperature range. you'll probably find that the upper of the range is 40

I've been running JVC headunits for years now and haven't had any problems with them. Maybe take it back and source a replacement?
