screw holes

steering column seperates like so

all exposed

Image

cable and screw that needs to be removed. once done the unit slides out

the doohiki removed

Image

my camera battery died when i got to this but pretty much there is little black clips u need to push in with a small screw driver then the black back cover pulls off
then a used some long nose pliers to lightly grip the bottom of the original globe and twist

then put it all back together and it turned out a little like this

got the globes last night, fitting took 20 mins to pull apart and put back together, thanks for uploading the pics eattsie9.
it looks great, since my car has every single interior bulb (apart from the dash) changed from globe to white led, yes even the glove box and boot  . the blue light around the keyhole actually locks more stock and more correct then the yellow bulb light

hey i just did the mod yesterday, pretty easy and a bit of fun to do. b**ch to get the screw out that holds the plastic casing in place because it was soooo tight with pretty limited room.

quick question, i noticed my light never fully goes out. So yes while it lights up when you open the doors and what not, when it dims it doesnt turn off but instead dims down very, very low but remains on

any reason why this happens? is it gonna ever drain my battery?
