My mate has just bought a 2003 Fairlane in which the previous owner has used a very strong, sweet 'de-odorizer'. The smell is so strong that my mate gets a really bad headache after driving it for any distance; not what he hoped for!
Anyone got a clue as to how you can de-odorize a de-odorizer? If he can't fix it , he will have to sell it off again. Hope someone can help. Davo46

leave all the doors open on a windy day and it should get rid of the smell if not, buy some of thoses air fresheners which you stick on your air vent and it should get rid of it

There is a deodoriser you can get in most supermarkets called "nilodor." It works.
