From what i know from reading forums, some blokes are saying that it could be either all a mix, or possibly different pieces of leather and vinyl. Commonly, even on my mum and dads calais, the bits you sit on see from the front are leather, and at the back of the seat and pockets are made of vinyl. Also, I believe the headrests could be made of the mix stuff, because they feel different again. I suppose thats how they would keep costs down.

working with brand new cars everyday and taking off factory leather sometimes i can tell you most car companys use half leather half fake stuff they made to last a little longer, you'll find they put the fake stuff around the high wear parts of the seat so it does not wear as quick but the rest is leather.

hey bosseb, do you find they use vinyl with 'leather glued to the back of it? I work with lounge suites and some have had that s**t on the backs and everywhere you dont physically touch and the high wear bits are leather - Albeit maybe belly leather etc but you get the idea. ill have to sneak a camera into work or something and take a few snaps ;)

Does anyone know if the el gt boot is in fact black and leather?
