I've never heard of this idea, but on paper it looks pretty sweet.

The add for it is a bit chincey sounding, but check it out:

http://tinyurl.com/672nz3 (it's an ebay link, I just didn't want it to take up 1/2 a page)

If it actually works, it might be a good way to change the look of the whole interior for relatively cheap.

And I mean lets face it, the interior in just about the whole E series was nothing to sing and dance about....

yea a bloke from my work enguired about them for his commodore wagon and they reckon its easier if you take your car to them cause they can be fairly tight which is good and what you want.

but i have heard of people doing them there selves...

he never ended up gettin them because he sold his wagon. but id love to see a car done cause i might go for the idea 2 if there comfortable and neat.

i'm currently awaiting my new seats covers from them at the moment.
it's due about december 13th, i'm respraying my interior at the moment.

i will let you know how it goes, and post pictures before xmas when it's complete.

this is what i've ordered for my EF XR6:
i got all seats covers (with ford logos in them and the sports centres - that leather with the breathing holes in it, whatever you call it), centre console lid cover, gear stick cover, 4 door trim covers (the part that's fabric) and fabric to cover the parcel shelf = $1,000.

i only deposited $200 (which id recommend so you don't get ripped off)
the rest i will pay if its all 100% quality.

oh and i agree, E series interior are comfy, but not great on the eyes.
i've resprayed all the grey plastics black, with ivory cream seats and trims, all with black stitching.

should be more appealing.

I've had mine for about 2 years and had no trouble.
Easy to install on your own, but as you would expect, not a 5min job.
Seats need to be stripped down to the foam.

They don't need to be stripped down to the foam anymore.
Instead of "leatherette" they're using "semi-leather" which goes straight over the old covers for added comfort.
