whats going on ive put a low radiator light in my el gli but it dont work with the gli cluster when i put a fairmont cluster in it works so its wired up for that one but dont work on the gli. got me stuffed?

yep ive tried two gli clusters they dont work but when i put the fairmont one in it works and i followed the directions in this site

did you install a bulb in the gli cluster as it would not be there from ford????

The GLI cluster circuit board needs 6 surface components (resistors/capacitors) added before the low coolant function will work properly.
Futura/XR/Fairmont boards already have these components.

The easiest fix would be to get a Futura cluster, or grab an XR or Fairmont one and fit an oil pressure sender. There's usually a sticker on the white case saying what cluster it is.
