Hey guys, I've always been keen on carbon fibre bits and pieces, but it really is hard to find all those little bits.. or no one actually makes them for your specific model.
So, after some browsing, I have found an absolute gem of a business that gives you everything you need, and more, to make your own at home. Now admittedly I don't actually know if this is real CF or not, the whole process looks fiendishly like coloured fibreglass to me, but once its finished, it looks simply awesome either way. Well... to get to the point here is the address http://www.carbonmods.co.uk They have instructional vids on all their stuff. You can either create your own moulds of bits and pieces or you can simply laminate them. I'm buying the starters kit with the mould kit too. And if this all works swell, then I'll move up to the big stuff and start to go a little bit crazy with it Enjoy... oh and if anyone has any sort of authority on the stuff and can say if its the real deal or not, then by all means say so!! I was always under the impression the stuff was vacuum formed and at high temp??? |

Looks bloody good. I watched the video and it looks pretty time consuming, but on the flip side HEAPS cheaper than getting one made or covered by someone else. Keep us updated of how you go once you try your kit. if all goes well, i might get one as well
Good find
