there is a lot woorse on the car, for example the spacers required for me to put on my skyline rims.

yah, that would make it worse. i was thinkin of this a little while ago....the soft surround on the BF auto shifter is so sexy, but they have the separated gear shift indicated. maybe its possible (with a lot of work) to modify the boot surround so you can have best of both worlds? only an idea, i just love the bf shifter

why not try somethin like the VZ commys have:

looks quite good in the flesh

heres an idea:

take the auto surround: cut the slot out square shaped, off to the left hand side a tad more (maybe 10-15mm) then get a boot made or try and adapt a properly colored EL GT boot, then maybe try modifying the BA auto shifter to fit the stalk.

Would look quite nice i think.[/img]

yeh, exactly like that (not same as the commo, the combination idea)

sorta removes the harsh plastic look, softens the centre of the car a bit i think!

Yeah I agree with most people. Why bother?

It doesn't look that great, plus why do it?

As much as I hate to say it, the commie set up does look good, however I reckon the BA knob / boot is better. Looks classier with the silver highlights.

Off topic, but you wouldn't have a larger picture of that Skaife photoshop you've done?

You're very negative about a lot of things here :P. I did it because its DIFFERENT and my old auto surround used to rattle and annoy the s**t out of me.

Plus its another suggestion for other people who may like what me and chong bonger have done to our own cars. Its all about the modifying....
