Hi all,next weekend i will be udertaking the job of replacing all my dash globes with 5mm blue 13,000mcd LEDs.Its an EF by the way.Could some members please post some pics of their dash so i can see what to expect(and please tell what LEDs were used.R the EF needles bright in this conversion?Would like to see EFs if possible.

hehe gaz still no pic mate :P so mate whered u pickup the blue 13000MCD ones for are they a complete globe,resistor setup incoporated into a globe holder or just bought LEDs on there own ?

i used LED's already in holder and cut out my own filters.

i bought them just the LEDs.goin to jaycar or d**k to get resistors and heat shrink tubing. i got them from www.ledsales.com.au

thats not bad, there obviously LEDs right, where did u get em from?

ill post mine later, im prity happy wit it after a little modifications, its too light to take a picture atm

yeh, mine are just the standard NARVA blue LED's .. part number is 47902 from memory? or maybe thats my pin number? :lol:

i got em from coventry's :) no where else had them, ro could get them for a while.. being weeks.

so yes, they are direct plug and play, unscrew old bulb, screw in the new one and done.

why do people always go with blue LEDs in their dash? why not something different like white........i reckon white would make it look really cool. i hope since thats what im doing to my EA fairmont ghia. good luck with it

i had white leds in my dash with the normal dials in and i rek it looked good.

diffentent to all the blue ones that u see all the time.

and plus it u go white when u change your filter the colours that u print out actually come out that colour at night. if u get what i mean lol.

really blue is the way to go thow it looks real nice, i had blue but got bored reeeeel qwickly and its green now, i recon looks really great, id like to try other colours but unless u keep buying em ull spend more money on lights than mods cause there not exacly cheap unless bought bulk
